CLASSES FOR CHILDREN
Teaching Background
Mindy has been teaching art to children since 1994. In 2004 she opened artGarage where she teaches specific age groups during the school year and a multi-age camp for 8 – 16 year olds in the summer. She runs process-oriented classes in painting, drawing, collage, batik, cyanotype, jewelry-making, as well as in clay, wood and found object sculpture.

Fall through Spring
Description
During the school year, classes are held in four sessions, October through May, one afternoon a week for age groups K-12. Portfolio preparation, private and semi-private lessons are also available.

Summer Camp
Description
There are 3 programs, morning, afternoon, or full day, in June-July that are available for either 3 or 4 –day weeks. Students 8 to16 years of age may sign up for any program for one or all four week(s). For the afternoon or full day program, bring a drink/lunch, non-aerosol sunscreen, suit, & towel. Lunch is held at artGarage between 12:30 – 1:00pm.

Morning Art Program 10-12:30pm
Afternoon Beach/Art Program 1-4pm
Full Day Program 10-4pm

There is the option (if space is available) of adding on daily programs. The per day rates are:
Morning $45 per child/ $80 per family
Afternoon $40 per child/ $70 per family
Full Day $75 per child/ $140 per family

Four Day or Three Day Weeks are offered for one child/siblings. Sign up is flexible, based on your needs; i.e., you may choose two 3- day weeks, one 4- day week, for one or more children, either mornings only, afternoons only, or full days:

There are two registration forms: one for the 3-day program and one for the 4-day program.
